Your data is protected by technical and organizational measures against unauthorized processing, destruction, modification or loss. For this purpose, the site operator stores your data on specially protected servers. Access to this data is only possible for a few persons authorized by the site operator who are involved in the technical, commercial or editorial support of these servers. In addition, extensive technical measures are implemented, such as: Use of firewall, antivirus, secure passwords and settings, multiple authentication, as well as regular maintenance, software updates and redundant data backups.
SSL Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential data, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator, this website uses SSL encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the lock symbol in front of the address line and by the fact that the browser address line starts with “https://” instead of “http://”. If SSL encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Cookies
We sometimes use so-called cookies on our website. These are small text files that are sent from the server to your Internet browser and are stored on your end device for a limited time. Cookies do not contain viruses and do not cause any damage to your end device. They do not contain any personal data and allow us to analyze your use of our website in order to make it more user-friendly, effective and secure.
In most cases, these are so-called “session cookies”, which are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to automatically recognize your Internet browser the next time you visit our website.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you have requested (e.g. comment function, shopping cart function, etc.) are stored in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. We have a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of our services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for the analysis of your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this privacy policy.
You can set your internet browser to prevent the installation of cookies as well as activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. However, we would like to point out that by deactivating cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

The basis for this data processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.
Further storage of personal data will only take place if you expressly inform us that you wish us to do so. You can send us corresponding information, for example, in the context of requests for information and competitions.

Online Forms
If you contact us by e-mail or via our online forms, the information you provide, including the contact data you enter there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the request and in case of follow-up questions. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent. A comparison of this data with data that may be collected in other ways on our site will also not take place.
The processing of the data entered in the online forms is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it or revoke your consent to store it, provided that this request does not conflict with any legal obligation to retain data. Data that is absolutely necessary for order processing or for commercial purposes is not affected by a cancellation or deletion.
Objection to Advertising Mails
The use of contact data published within the framework of the imprint obligation by third parties for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information material is hereby expressly prohibited. The operator of the pages expressly reserves the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.
Integration of Third-party Services and Content
It may happen that third-party content, such as graphics, fonts or videos from other websites, is integrated within this online offer. This always requires that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) perceive the IP address of the user. Without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is thus necessary for the display of this content. We endeavor to use only such content whose respective providers use the IP address only for the delivery of the content. However, we have no influence if the third-party providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. Insofar as this is known to us, we inform the users about it.
The use of third-party services and content is based on our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer) within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
The following presentation provides an overview of third-party providers and their content and links to their privacy statements, which contain further information on the processing of data and opt-out options.
Use of Real Cookie Banner
To manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and related consents, we use the consent tool “Real Cookie Banner”. Details on how “Real Cookie Banner” works can be found at https://devowl.io/knowledge-base/real-cookie-banner-data-processing/.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data in this context is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DS-GVO and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the related consents.
The provision of the personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we will not be able to manage your consents.
Use of Social Media Buttons with Shariff
We use the c’t project Shariff on our website. Shariff replaces the usual share buttons of the social networks and thereby protects the surfing behavior.
Shariff integrates these share buttons of the social networks on our website only as a graphic, which contains a link to the corresponding social network. By clicking on the corresponding graphic, you will be redirected to the services of the respective network. The Shariff button establishes direct contact between the social network and our visitors only when the visitor actively clicks on the Share button, or only then will your data be transmitted to the respective social network. If, on the other hand, the Shariff button is not clicked, no exchange takes place between you and the social networks. You can find more information about the c’t project “Shariff” at http://www.heise.de/ct/artikel/Shariff-Social-Media-Buttons-mit-Datenschutz-2467514.html.
We integrate the following social networks with Shariff on our website:
Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Xing, and Reddit.
Use of Reddit Pixel for Web Analytics and Advertising
We employ the Reddit Pixel on our website, a tool from the social media platform, Reddit. Reddit Pixel allows us to comprehend user interactions on our website after they have viewed or clicked on a Reddit advertisement, helping us measure the efficacy of our ads on Reddit and tailor content for our audience more effectively.
Unlike traditional tracking methods, the Reddit Pixel is integrated into our website as a mere code snippet. This means that no direct content (like buttons or icons) from Reddit is embedded into our website. Only when you interact with our website, the Reddit Pixel might collect information about these interactions to provide insights on the reach and success of our advertising efforts.
However, the Reddit Pixel does not automatically establish direct contact between Reddit’s servers and our visitors. Data will only be transmitted to Reddit when you actively interact with our site, allowing us to track conversions or retarget advertisements. If the Reddit Pixel is not triggered by an interaction, there is no exchange of data between you and Reddit.
To understand more about Reddit’s advertising and data practices, and how they protect user data, you can refer to Reddit’s official documentation.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to change the data protection declaration in order to adapt it to changed legal situations, or in the event of changes to the service as well as data processing. However, this only applies with regard to declarations on data processing. Insofar as user consents are required or components of the data protection declaration contain provisions of the contractual relationship with the users, the changes will only be made with the consent of the users.
Users are requested to inform themselves regularly about the content of the data protection declaration.
